Curiosity leads you here, what happens next?

What to expect at your first appointment
We talk
We cover the basics like health history, lifestyle and other care you may be receiving. Then we’ll move on to quality of life, your definitions of health and how I can help. I can explain how seemingly unrelated symptoms may tie together and welcome your questions in our dialog.
We learn
We add more depth to our conversation using Chinese Medicine diagnostic methods: looking at your tongue, checking your pulse, and palpating areas that reflect your body’s internal state. Together these give us a clearer picture of what is contributing to your concerns and where to focus.
We get to work
This is where you get to relax on a temperature-controlled table while I place sterile, single-use needles at carefully chosen points. Most people are surprised by how little they feel. The points I select have been refined through centuries of practice and mapped against what modern science now understands about how the body heals itself.
We identify achievable goals
Foundational change doesn’t happen overnight and it requires patience and support, to take hold. We’ll work together to create a treatment plan that aligns with your priorities. You may be asked to return for ongoing appointments, prescribed an herbal formula or encouraged to apply individualized recommendations for diet, exercise or other activities.
Pricing
Each appointment is $120. Any herbal formulas prescribed are priced separately.
True to Life Wellness does not work with insurance directly, but a superbill is available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. It is worth a call to your carrier to find out what is possible.
Cancellation policy
Life happens — and schedules shift. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling, so that the time can be offered to someone else. Cancellations within that window may be charged the full session fee. Arriving on time helps ensure the full benefit of each visit.
